This is my first prosthetic after my unilateral mastectomy a year ago. I'm very sensitive to artificial things on me - I can barely tolerate lipstick and shoes (LBVS) - so I've struggled to find something to restore my symmetry that doesn't aggravate me to no end. This is the one, y'all.It's heavy enough so my bra strap doesn't ride up on that side, but it's not HEAVY, ya know? It matches my somewhat unusual shape (larger band size, but smaller cup size). A lot of others were too small in diameter, but stuck out to far from the chest wall. But the part that really makes this great is the flowable gel backing. My scar is reasonably flat, but the other models with the stiffer backs still didn't sit flush and they irritated the skin where my nerve endings are still doing weird things.I'm very happy to have found this product. I feel more normal now than I have in a long time and I can't tell you how good that feels. I appreciate the manufacturer taking the care that they do to produce a product that is genuinely changing lives.
