These are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. It's like slipping your feet into a pillow. As with other Mephisto shoes, they run a bit small and narrow, so order up half a size. I over pronate and put my orthotics in these. The boot is on the warm side (wearing them all day if it's not a bit chilly outside may cause your feet to sweat). But they're lovely for a Minnesota winter, when you aren't totally warm even while inside. My only complaint is that I wish they looked a little less like Uggs, but they are stylish overall.I ordered these three days ago and they arrived the following day, even though it was on 2-day shipping order. These boots are gorgeous, very rich black. I was a bit worried about the fit, having read other reviews here, but they fit well, the toebox is fine, they have good cushioning, as I expected from a Mephisto shoe, and I am very pleased with my purchase. Can't beat the price on this quality shoe (I got the deepest sale price).Beautiful boot--very dark rich black suede with a gold zipper that provides a beautiful accent. The rubber sole is thick, and so nice and bouncy. But the toe box! Why does Mephisto have to make toe boxes so shallow that they feel like they're made for children? This is essentially a comfort boot, and not cheap, so there should be adequate room for the toes. I love them, but I have to send them back, because although I have quite normal sized toes, they are smushed in these boots. Mephisto prides itself on maintaining healthy feet. But squashed toes are not healthy. The boots are heavier than most Mephistos, because of the thick rubber, but that didn't bother me. These should have been perfect, but they are spoiled by the silliness of the shallow toe box, which is not only very shallow, but also very stiff.Generally happy with my purchase. Toe a bit snug, but expect with wear that the suede will give a bit.They are a little tight at the toe, I like a little more space in my shoes. May I should have gotten a size larger. But I like Mephisto shoes, they are very comforable. I have a few pairs, it's just this pair that feels a little snug. Maybe I'll exchange them for a larger size.What a great boot! I was looking for arch support and comfort and these fit the bill. I usually wear a size 11, which is what I bought. Wouldn’t want them any smaller. They are a super comfortable very stylish pair of booths. Great seller, too!Although other reviews said the toe room was tight, I did not experience this, even with thick socks. They fit just fine! It's not easy to find blue ankle boots, and these are great.These boots are heavenly! I have hard to please feet, and these are so comfortable well engineered. Plus they're red. I smile every time I look down at them.
