I purchased these as a backup for the exact same pair I bought last year (which still have alot of miles left in them )! I think they're being phased out and I love them SO MUCH I won't live without them if I can help it. Even though they're Chelseas, the elastic part isn't as huge and obvious as most I've seen so no struggle getting them on and doesn't look utilitarian. The style of the boot classes up your look without trying too hard, and it's all-weather...win/win! Sorel quality so price is fair. Get 'em!!I have bunions so it was key to find a good fitting shoe with arch support.They seemed a little tight and narrow at first but after day or two they broke in and fit perfect.highly recommend!The second time I wore the boots it was to the zoo, I was able to be on my feet all day without discomfort..!I love these boots. The fit and style are both perfect. I have very narrow feet and they fit true to my size and not too wide.These boots are not only cute, but go on like slippers. Sturdy, well made. Think I’m going to get another pair in a different color. They arrived quickly. Will buy from this seller again.Will keep you updated. Headed on a European vacation & these will be my “keep your feet dry” shoes.I love them the look is soo cute but they do run a bit smaller than other styles of sorrelsThree things to know about my new favorite shoes:1.) THE PRICE CHANGES. The pricing on these boots fluctuates a LOT!!!! I looked one day and saw them at $120, and the next week they were $55 - I've never purchased anything so quickly when I saw that dip in price. Run, don't walk! ;) So, don't get discouraged if they are above your budget, just keep an eye on the price and when/if this product dips below $70, GRAB THEM! (To be honest they are worth every penny even if I'd had to pay full price).2.) TRUE TO SIZE - but only after they are broken in. I recommend buying them true to size. I bought my true-to-size 7.5 and they took about 4 hours to break in. I can wear thick socks with them, and they are so comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing shoes. If you have a bit of a wider foot, I recommend buying your true size and sizing up a half-size so that you can try them on and return the pair that doesn't fit best.3.) COLOR - The Major/Black color is absolutely stunning in person, but keep in mind that the true color is nothing like the stock photo. I took the photo attached to this review -straight out of the box on the day they arrived - in fully natural lighting in front of an open window. This is a MUCH more accurate portrayal of the true color of these boots. They are an Olive-y tan, with a slightly darker ombre effect near the toes (which I actually love - makes it look much more luxe in my opinion). The leather scuffs easily, but with a quick buff the scuffs disappear - it's absolutely not a dealbreaker in my opinion. (I did spray some leather sealant - not to waterproof them as they are already perfectly waterproof straight out of the box - but just to preserve the original coloring and protect from scuffs.)I ordered this boot in 9.5 (my true size and size 40 in EU sz) and in a 10. Why? Because after I bought the 9.5 I wondered if a bigger size might give me extra toe box space for my right foot which seems to like a tiny bit more room. The 10 did not work as there was no extra width and it also slipped in the heal - clearly too big. The 9.5 fits well, but I'm finding I was wishing for just a scosh more room in the toe box. I do not have a wide foot nor a narrow foot. In my Birkenstock sandals, I do wear a 40N because their foot bed is so wide. These are great looking boots. I ordered the Major/Black (tan & black) color and love it. This color combo goes great with any color jean! I was expecting them to be just a little bit dressier, but am fine with the "country" look these have. I didn't award 5 stars because for the price of these boots when I'm wishing for bit more room, but can live with it. Also, wishing they had better than just moderate support, but again it's hard to find a boot that meets all your needs with paying over $200. I read reviews where people had worn these forever without a problem. I can't say I could wear them ALL day long doing serious walking, but for run-around waterproof boot that has some sense of style, they are great. I'm going to keep the 9.5 and suggest anyone ordering to order their original size. I can wear these with a thinner wool sock (not liner thin) to a medium thick smartwool sock.I returned these - they were a tad on the small side and I thought the top of the boot was a bit short and wide - I could imagine copious amounts of rain or pebbles flicking right into the boot.They weren’t (in my opinion) handsome or comfortable enough to keepComfortableGreat in the rain. Very comfortable.I first ordered these in the major/black colour and went half a size up based on reading other reviews online suggesting this (and due to other Sorel boots I've tried on that fit small). I 100% should have ordered my actual size. The major/black color is true to the colour in the photos - a definite khaki/green tinge but it's subtle. These required no breaking in and were so comfortable right out of the box. I ordered quarry/black in my usual size and they fit perfect and can accommodate thicker socks. The grey colour is also exactly as depicted in the photos. I love these boots and they stay dry in wet weather.These are amazing boot they are very comfortable and true to size. We get lots of snow here and I was very surprised that my feet haven’t gotten damp once I am on my feet all day at working and these shoes are so comfortable my feet haven’t hurt once since day 1 of wearing them would definitely recommend buying. They already arrived ahead of expected date and can be worn dressy or casual
