I panicked a little after I ordered this skirt because I ordered a size 24 for some reason when I'm almost always a size 25, especially in Joe's jeans. However, I've never worn a Joe's skirt before, so I thought maybe there was a chance it would be OK.And it's actually pretty perfect! The skirt has a little bit of stretch and seems to fit my waist really well. If I was ordering this again, I'm honestly not totally sure if I'd get the 24 or 25, but I think I'd stick to the 24. The only thing I don't love is that the skirt doesn't lie totally flat in front and it might be because it's not quite big enough (or it might just be the fabric and the fact I put it on right out of the bag). I do think a size up would gape too much in the back. And this one feels really comfortable on me. As a point of reference, I buy size 25 in Joe's, Hudson, and Madewell jeans. I do wear size 24 in Madewell shorts. I'm about 5'3 and 105 pounds.In any event, this skirt can be worn with so many different tops and it will look adorable for fall! I'm also planning to pair it with black tights and give it a fun holiday look!
